Moominvalley Park will celebrate August 9th (Sunday), the birthday of Moomin creator Tove Jansson, as "Moomin Day ." On that day , the park will offer a special day filled with celebratory atmosphere from morning till night, including a meet-and-greet with all the Moominvalley characters , a "card holder" giveaway , and a "Moomin Day Commemorative Fireworks Display" set to an original song.
Furthermore, we have decided to hold "Kippis!! at Lettura Lounge ~An Invitation from Friends of Moomin Valley~," a greeting dinner that engages all five senses and was a huge success last year . Advance ticket sales will begin on Tuesday, July 21st.
From August 9th (Sunday) to August 16th (Sunday), it will be "Moomin Day Special Week," with plenty of events to enjoy no matter how many times you visit , including character cards and original stickers as gifts , limited-edition art lattes for sale, and food trucks . Let's celebrate this memorable day together at Moominvalley Park, where the Moominvalley characters are waiting for you!

▶The Moomin Valley friends will welcome you! A special program for one day only.
The hugely popular "Gyugyu Happy! ~Happy Meet & Greet~" will be performed in a special one-time-only version on Sunday, August 9th . Moomintroll, Little My, Snufkin, Moominpappa, Moominmamma, Ancestor, Snorkmaiden, Sniff, and other Moominvalley characters will all be there! We also plan to hold an Instagram Live broadcast on the day so that those who cannot come to Moominvalley Park can join in the celebration.
Furthermore, in the afternoon , we will invite 50 lucky groups by lottery to a "Moomin Day Special Greeting" where you can take photos with Moomintroll, Little My, Snufkin, Moominpappa, Moominmamma, and the Ancestor (tentative) !
*The lottery is scheduled to begin on July 25th (Saturday) at 10:00 AM. Further details will be announced on the metsä official website and social media.

On Sunday, August 9th, "Moomin Day," guests who enter the park will receive a limited-edition card holder (business card size) as a gift . You can use it to store your favorite photos taken with the Moomin Valley characters, or you can use it as a pass case.

There are 12 different cards in total, and they are the perfect size for the card holder given as a park admission gift.
