The umbrella sky project "Forests, Lakes and Umbrellas" will be held at the "metsä Village", a relaxing and cozy place that flows in Northern Europe. In addition, textile designer Masaru Suzuki, who is in charge of designing marimekko and other products born in Finland, is in charge of the design. You can spend a comfortable early summer day in which you can enjoy looking up at the sky with Umbrella Sky in the image of a "rainbow from a forest to a lake" that is a masterpiece of about 7 umbrellas.

 

Umbrella Sky, which is set up so that the umbrella fills the overhead, began in 2012 as part of an art festival held in summer in the small town of Agueda in Portugal. Although it was born from the idea of ​​measures against the heat of this season, as in the concept "colorful" of the art festival, the city will be dyed with colorful scenery and lively overflowing during the period, and it will be attracted to the color as it is It seems that many people will come to this city as if it were.
We provide a place where visitors can feel bright and have fun even on rainy or hot days. This project "Forest, Lake, and Umbrella." uses 1,000 colorful umbrellas from "metsä" entrance road metsä Tie, and the image of "rainbow" from the forest to the lake is coordinated by Mr. Suzuki. Created a space. This is the largest "Umbrella Sky" exhibition in Japan, with a 100m-wide image of a "rainbow"-like space. In the space over 100 meters, the rainbow-like path linked with the sky continues with the light entering through the umbrella floating in the air, and the scenery you see changes as you go. In addition, animals and umbrellas that hide casually along the way are also hidden, making it fun to look for.
