A special 9-day "Moomin's Day Special Week" will be held to celebrate Moomin's Day!

At Moominvalley Park, we celebrated "Moomin's Day" on Sunday, August 8th, and designated 9 days from Saturday, August 8th to Sunday, August 8th as "Moomin's Day Special Week". We will prepare a plan that everyone can enjoy.

①Original tin badge gift
In commemoration of "Moomin's Day", "Moomin 75th Anniversary Original Badge" will be presented.

②Hattifattener's day poncho distribution
Based on Hattifattener's day on the 11th of every month, we will distribute Hattifattener ponchos to the first 1,111 people.

August 8th is Moomin's day
Since "Moomin's 2005th Anniversary" in 60, the birthday of author Tove Jansson has been set as "Moomin's Day", and various events have been held on August 8th every year. This year, we will be broadcasting live TV programs from YouTube at Moominvalley Park, and will be broadcasting live with Moomin related facilities nationwide to make "Moomin's Day" more exciting.
