"DREAMS" x Scandinavian "Knitting Club" Project - Time to Knit, Talk, and Connect

Knitting is a symbolic motif in the film "DREAMS." In Scandinavia, there are "knitting clubs," known as "Strikkeklubb" in Norway and "neulontakerho" in Finland. These clubs are not just places for people to enjoy knitting, but also serve as communities where people can gather and interact, chatting and sharing knitting techniques over coffee or tea.
To coincide with the film collaboration, a "knitting club" will be held every other week! If you have any questions, you can ask the instructor. Why not spend some fun time together through knitting?

Special Screening "Oslo, Three Landscapes of Love"

When people encounter emotions they have never experienced before, what do they think and what words do they exchange?
Three "sceneries" related to "love," "romance," and "sex" from Oslo, a city of beautiful nature and culture.

"DREAMS" revolves around the candid first love diary of a 17-year-old girl who falls in love with a female teacher; "LOVE" explores various forms of love between two medical professionals; and "SEX" involves a married man reconsidering his "identity" after a certain experience. All three films share a common theme: witty conversations between people who discover their innermost desires. Without passing judgment, we empathize with these people as they unravel their ingrained values and the emotions welling up within them, leaving us bewildered, yet also experiencing new excitement and lingering impressions. The beautiful scenery of Oslo, the Norwegian capital, where nature and culture blend—from everyday ferries to the landmark Oslo City Hall and chimney-topped houses—reflects the gentle, humble lives of its people. Haugerud, who cited Eric Rohmer as a major influence, portrays the humor of human life in modern society.
