The design uses the leaves of the zelkova tree from Saitama Prefecture. It is a tree that opens small pale yellow-green flowers along with new leaves in spring, and the leaves turn red and yellow in autumn. It has been growing wild in Saitama Prefecture for a long time.Today, there are zelkova trees that have been designated as natural monuments of the prefecture in various places, including the large zelkova trees of Kiyokawa Temple (Saitama City). We designed it for Saitama Citizen's Day by treating the autumn leaves of the "Zelkova" and combining the symbol design of Moominvalley Park.
