Hydrangeas × Umbrellas! Enjoy Moominvalley Park even in the rain!
Hydrangeas appear in the Umbrella Corridor!!
Approximately 1000 hydrangeas will be planted beside the 1000 umbrellas, transforming the space into a gorgeous display of umbrellas in the sky and hydrangeas on the ground.
The hydrangeas that will be installed are varieties that allow you to enjoy soft colors such as blue and pink, with beautiful gradations in the flowers rather than the entire flower being dyed. The colors also change to deeper shades depending on the season, and turn purple at the end of blooming. Please enjoy the fantastical space created by the gradations of the colorful umbrellas hanging in the sky and the hydrangeas decorating the ground.

Celebrating the 80th anniversary of Moomin with the spectacular "Moominvalley and Umbrella"
The Umbrella Corridor is an overwhelming scale 200 metres long, made up of approximately 1000 umbrellas, and this year new umbrella objects will also be installed on the "Cove Terrace," creating a fantastical space.
Enter the world of the Moomin monogatari, Ltd. that has been around for 80 years. Enjoy a special moment under the colorful umbrellas that can only be experienced at Moominvalley Park.

The audio guide "Exploring the World of Art and Stories with Moomin" takes you through the exhibition facility "Kokemus," which means "experience" in Finnish, and gives you a deeper insight into the world of Moomin and its original author, Tove Jansson. As you explore the museum with Moomintroll, you will be able to enjoy the charm of the stories and the artistic world of the original author, Tove Jansson, even more deeply.
