Because the number "1" resembles the shape of a mysterious creature called a "Hattifattener," Moominvalley Park has designated the 11th of every month as Hattifattener Day. This year, they've also designated 1.11 (Sun) as "Super Hattifattener Day," and will be holding an event related to Hattifatteners! A swarm of Hattifatteners will be appearing around the barometer!

A huge outbreak of Hattifatteners around the barometer!

In the novel "Finn Family Moomintroll," the Moomins and their friends arrive on an island where Hattifatteners are infested. We've recreated that scene by creating a Hattifattener outbreak on the barometer in "Lonely Mountain." This is a photo spot where you can take pictures with the swaying Hattifatteners.
