1. Hobgoblin's Magical Splash Zone

Hobgoblin's Magical Splash Zone

In the story, the black top hat has the magical power to change the appearance of anyone who puts it inside, and when it falls into Moominvalley, a series of incidents occur in "The Hobgoblin's Magic Hat." The children have a blast watching the water suddenly spray up from inside!

② "Splash Creek"

Soft flowing water, sparkling soap bubbles, and sunlight surround you as you see children smiling and frolicking everywhere.

Sunflowers spread across the entire terrace, as far as the eye can see. A soft, cool mist gently softens the summer sun. Adults can also relax and enjoy a soothing moment here.

During the day, the rainbow-colored scenery created by the sunlight filtering through the trees and the mist is truly fantastical. The soothing scent of the forest will make you feel as if you are walking through a storybook.

Attention point

The sound of a harmonica can be heard on the boardwalk leading to the "Lake Terrace"...

To get to the Lake Terrace, you walk along a boardwalk that stretches for about 40 meters. As you step out, admiring the beautiful scenery that blends in with the surrounding nature, you might notice a figure... It seems that Snufkin, who is strolling in the Moominvalley area, has also come to admire this beautiful natural scenery. If you happen to meet Snufkin, you might have an experience that feels like a scene from a storybook, and be able to take a memorable photo. Leave it to Snufkin's whims and your own luck, and try strolling along the boardwalk.

Watch the fireworks from the "Lake Terrace"!

*The photo was taken from the Lake Terrace at the Moomin Day Fireworks Festival 2025.
During the "Moominvalley Lakeside Fireworks Festival" and "metsä Nordic Fireworks 2025," which will brilliantly light up the summer night sky and lake surface, the "Lakeside Terrace" will be open as a fireworks viewing area, where you can enjoy the spectacular entertainment of light and music reflected on the water's surface, which is different from the view seen from the front on the lakeshore.

The boardwalk is also fantastically lit up at night!

At night, the illuminated mist overlaps with the silhouette of the forest, creating a completely different atmosphere from the daytime. You can enjoy the cool evening air while immersing yourself in a quiet, mystical atmosphere.

More fountains at "Moominvalley's Splash Pool"!

Being soaked isn't enough! Enjoy the powered-up area to the fullest!

Welcome to a fantastic night! Summer illuminations

It is a recommended photo spot where you can take a special photo with a quiet and fantastical atmosphere.
*Illumination times: From sunset until closing time.
