On September 12th (Sat), 19th (Sat), 20th (Sun), 21st (Mon), and 22nd (Tue), enjoy fireworks over the lake in a Nordic style!
On days when the Nordic Fireworks Festival is held at metsä, fireworks are also launched over the lake on the Moominvalley Park side. The approximately 15-minute lakeside fireworks display, accompanied by music recommended by the Nordic embassies, is truly spectacular. Viewing from the terrace over the lake is highly recommended, as you can enjoy both the fireworks reflected on the water and the fireworks illuminating the night sky at the same time.
On regular weekends and holidays, the "Moominvalley Lake Fireworks Display" is held. The fireworks are launched for about 5 minutes to the tune of an original Moominvalley Park song.
As the heat subsides in the summer evenings, Moomin Valley Park takes on a completely different appearance from during the day. A fantastical scene unfolds in the Moomin Valley area amidst the summer evening scenery. Moominhouse is illuminated with art themed around "summer" as depicted in the stories. As the sun sets, not only the umbrella sky but also the trees on the opposite bank are enveloped in a magical light show, changing color one after another to match the umbrellas' colors.
■Even if you enter the park in the evening, you can still enjoy shows at Emma's Theatre! And you can also shop at the gift shops!
At "Emma's Theatre," there are two evening shows starting at 4:00 PM. You can fully enjoy greetings with the Moomins and the shows. Shopping after the show is also recommended. "Main Shop Moominvalley," one of the largest Moomin merchandise shops, is open until closing time, so after enjoying the shows and fireworks, take a look around the spacious store and find your favorite Moomin goods.
■There's plenty to see even in the evening. At the indoor facility "Kokemus," you can coolly enter the world of the story!
If you're worried about the heat, we recommend experiencing art at the indoor facility "Kokemus." Enjoy the dioramas and the permanent Moomin exhibition, and spend some time relaxing and fully immersing yourself in the world of the Moomin stories. There's plenty to see even if you enter at 16:00 PM. Be careful, though, as you might easily lose track of time.

Next to Moominvalley Park is "metsä Village," a facility where you can experience a Scandinavian atmosphere. We recommend spending time there enjoying fika (the Scandinavian tea time) or shopping for Scandinavian-designed goods. You can also experience activities such as boating.
