[Photobooth] Masuda Sebastian's KAWAII Bear Photo Booth

For Sebastian Masuda, the "teddy bear," a universal motif of kawaii, appears frequently in his works and merchandise, but most of them are nameless.
"Kumachan" (little bear) only gets a name when it's passed into someone's hands.
This big bear is Masuda's most standard yellow and pink color, and its distinctive feature is the pocket on its belly. Please stand next to it and take a picture together!
(Please refrain from moving it around or being rough with it.)

【Artwork】Entrance artwork: "EXPRESS YOURSELF"

Masuda Sebastian was born deaf and relied primarily on his sight until he regained his hearing in elementary school. As a result, the stimulation of color he experienced as a child was a powerful formative experience for him.

Located at the entrance of the exhibition, this piece, "Express Yourself," features Masuda's collection of toys and accessories—a culmination of her "memories"—stacked within a transparent outline shaped like a human face. A monitor embedded within the artwork displays "eye images" of approximately 40 people from the Kawaii community around the world, gazing directly at you.

[Workshop] A coloring experience program featuring the works of Sebastian Masuda: "PAINT IT COLORFUL."

We have prepared designs that can be enjoyed by everyone from young children to adults, including "Colorful Rebellion -More is More-" which is also on display at this exhibition, and the stuffed animals that appear in the works. Use the vivid colors of the special edition colored pencil set "20/500 COLORED PENCILS" selected by Sebastian Masuda to create your own cuteness.
