The Joxter is coming to Moomin Valley Park this year. Be sure to come and meet him!
He is a young Moominpappa's adventure companion and Snufkin's father. He is laid-back and usually sleeps all the time, but he hates being forbidden from doing anything, has cat-like eyes, and wears an old hat decorated with a string.
The spacious 320 square meter "Lakeside Terrace," where you can feel the pleasant autumn breeze, is the perfect spot to relax and unwind like the free-spirited and laid-back Joxter! Imagine yourself as the Joxter, lie down on a large cushion, and listen to the rustling of leaves in the wind and the soothing sound of water.
A new limited-time show, "Apple Pop Playtime!", features different characters from Moominvalley each day! Let's all go apple hunting to the rhythm!
■Event times: Two performances per day *Details of the performance times will be announced at a later date.
■ Venue: Emma's theater
The umbrella sky continues to appear along the path from the entrance to the Moominvalley area, just as it did in early summer. Now in eye-catching autumn colors, the umbrellas spread across the clear sky. This time, there's a special collaboration with a balloon decoration about 90cm in size, inspired by the apples that Moomintroll and his friends harvest in the stories! The ground is adorned with lush kochia plants, so don't miss this photo spot unique to this season!
Moominvalley Park is adorned with decorations and plants that evoke the image of "Autumn in Moominvalley," using autumnal fruits and pumpkins.
The "Terrace of Flowers and Stories" is themed around "Memories of Moominpappa," and features art panels by the Joxter, Hodgkins, and the Muddler, as well as touching scenes from the story, creating a relaxing and healing space where adults can unwind.
The path leading to the lighthouse is also adorned with illuminations that allow visitors to enjoy the early autumn foliage, offering a different look from the daytime. Furthermore, the "Moomin Valley Lake Fireworks Festival" will be held on weekends and holidays during the period. Combined with the fantastical illuminations in the park, you can leisurely enjoy the fireworks in the world of the story.
