Moomin Day Special Week 2025
■July 8th (Saturday) - August 9th (Sunday)
August 8th is Moomin Day, the birthday of Tove Jansson, the original author of the Moomin stories. Moominvalley Park is holding a Moomin Day Special Week from August 9th to August 8th, with a variety of events planned for visitors to enjoy. During this period, limited edition merchandise will be on sale, and park staff will be welcoming you wearing commemorative Moomin Day T-shirts. Let's celebrate this special time together while immersing ourselves in the world of the Moomin stories!

New area "Lake Terrace" OPEN!
A new area, "Lake Terrace," has opened at Moominvalley Park, and to celebrate the opening, Hattifattener water toys will be given away to children (ages 4 to high school students)!
In addition, a "Moominvalley splash pool" has been set up on the terrace above the lake, making it feel as if you are playing on the lake.

Water Play in Moominvalley 2025
■July 7th (Sat) - September 5rd (Tuesday/holiday)
This year, the terrace at the inlet has been renovated to be surrounded by sunflowers as "Little My Sunflower Terrace." You can take memorable photos in the photogenic scenery while feeling the coolness.

Moominvalley Lakeside Fireworks Festival - Summer 2025
Set to the original song by Moominvalley Park, fireworks are launched simultaneously from the lake, painting the sky with brilliant lights and colors. Their dazzling glow lights up the starry sky and instantly brightens up the surrounding darkness. Be sure to enjoy the breathtakingly spectacular lakeside fireworks, filling the sky with overwhelming brilliance and brilliance.

Moominvalley and Umbrella 2025
Due to popular demand, the event "Moominvalley and Umbrella 2025" will be held at Moominvalley Park from Saturday, April 4, 12 until Tuesday, September 2025, 2025. You can enjoy the 9-meter long Umbrella Corridor made of approximately 23 umbrellas.

The 11th of every month is "Hattifattener's Day"

The 11th of every month is "Hattifattener Day"! In 2025, the first 1111 visitors to the park will receive a Hattifattener Day art design potting sticker (not for sale).
Each month features a different design for the potting stickers. Collect them and enjoy Hattifattener Day. In addition, limited edition art lattes will be on sale, and there will also be special arcade game giveaways!

Making a silhouette keychain

A leather keychain workshop by the Souka Leather Craftsmen's Association in Soka, Saitama Prefecture. It's easy to make, so it's also recommended for children. Choose your favorite color and character to make a silhouette keychain. You can also engrave your initials, making it a more original keychain.

Let's create a glass flower arch over Moominvalley!

Round and smooth... the adorable baked glass is like a jewel. Use lots of glass pieces of different colors and shapes to create your own arch together with your Moominvalley friends. Choosing the glass is a lot of fun, and even small children can join in if accompanied by someone. We look forward to seeing you!

You can make glass accessories using original glass fired at approximately 800℃. Choose your favorite glass from a wide variety of shapes and patterns and create your own accessories, such as rings, earrings, pierced earrings, and brooches. You can take home your one-of-a-kind item along with a memento of your time at the Park.

This workshop is a collaboration between Iverle, a company that deals in fresh and preserved flowers, and Moominvalley Park, where you can create your own original preserved flower arrangement bottle. If you want to enjoy Moominvalley Park in the summer, we recommend using the night pass, which allows you to enter the park from 16 p.m. and enjoy events and fireworks over the lake.

This summer, access to Moominvalley Park will become easier and more comfortable.
For a limited time only, we will operate a free direct bus (reservation required) between Kawagoe Station and Metsä, and a free shuttle bus between Koma River Station, Higashi Hanno Station and Metsä every day! For those who have previously found it inconvenient to access Moominvalley Park, these free direct buses and free shuttle buses will allow you to easily get to Moominvalley Park with a comfortable bus ride.

[October 10st (Wednesday) is Tokyo Citizens' Day]
In parallel with the "Children's Support Campaign" (running until Tuesday, September 500th), which offers 9-day passes for high school students and younger for just 30 yen, children aged high school and younger who live in Tokyo will be able to purchase 3,900-day passes for free on Tokyo Citizens' Day only! Explore the world of art and stories with Moomin
Introducing the audio guide "Exploring the World of Art and Stories with Moomin," which takes you around Kokemus and gives you a deeper insight into the world of Moomin and its author, Tove Jansson! The setting for this tour is the exhibition facility "Kokemus," which means "experience" in Finnish. While touring the museum with Moomintroll, you can enjoy the charm of the story and the artistic world of the original author, Tove Jansson, in greater depth.

Moominvalley Audio Guide ~Adventure Walk with Moomin~
The Moominvalley Audio Guide is a new type of audio guide that can be enjoyed by everyone who enters Moominvalley Park.
As a "tourist" visiting Moominvalley Park, you will be free to explore the spots within the park with Moomintroll and the navigator.
By using your smartphone and Sony's Sound AR™ (a new audio experience that blends the real world with virtual sounds) service "Locatone™", you can immerse yourself in the world of the Moomin stories and experience new charms of the Park.
You can also enjoy playing with sounds that are linked to your movements, and take commemorative photos with the Moomins using the AR camera function.

Moomin 80th Anniversary
2025 marks the 1th anniversary of the publication of the first Moomin novel.
The theme for the 80th anniversary is "The door is always open."
Moominvalley, where the Moomins live, is home to many unique residents.
Residents are free to visit Moomin House and spend their time there however they like.
Moomin House, with its unlocked doors, welcomes any living thing.
I want people to find in the story the importance of a place to return to and a place to belong. This is a thought that has not changed from when the story began 80 years ago to the present day.
Moominvalley Park, the only theme park outside of Finland where you can experience the world of Moomin, will also be holding special events to commemorate the 80th anniversary.
Two types of digital annual passes are now on sale at a great value. Introducing the new "Premium Annual Pass"!
This annual passport allows you to enjoy Moominvalley Park at a great price. You can enter the park at any time for one year from the start date of use.
Starting in February 25, we will also be offering a "Premium Annual Passport" which comes with special benefits such as the right to participate in character photo sessions and advance reservations for special events.
