The Hyper Museum is
A gathering of "incredible talent"
It's a contemporary art museum.

Hyper Museum presents art that will pave the way for the next generation.
In this time of uncertainty, the role of art is becoming more and more important. Expectations are rising for artistic thinking and talent that can break through and transcend obstacles. I would like to call the "out-of-the-box" artists who carry this out "hyper talent."

Hyper Museum is not a museum based on conventional ideas. Although the scale of the facility is not large, we have a more ambitious vision than anyone else. In order to always create projects that will have a major impact on the times, we focus on networking and building a community of hyper artists.

Bringing together young talent that transcends regional boundaries and is recognized globally!
A project that will strongly connect artists, critics, and collectors!
A mecca for cutting-edge art such as NFT art and game art!
Create fascinating character art!
Creating a new spiritual home through art that coexists with nature!
Please look forward to it!

The Hyper Museum is
Future-oriented
It is a "development" museum.

Hyper Museum is a laboratory and factory for art content. Museums are places where masterpieces from the past are collected and displayed for viewing, but Hyper Museum is different. We see art works as "content from the future." We collaborate with artists with "outstanding talent" to create artworks that grow in value, art goods, and even innovations in the art business. We also support artists who are creating the future by sometimes investing in the creation of works and requesting commissioned work.

In developing art content, Hyper Museum places emphasis on the role of "characters" and "stories" in art. In recent years, anime, manga, and even games have begun to be treated as art in museums, but we want to take this trend even further.

The Hyper Museum is a factory that produces the future of art.

The Hyper Museum is
"Excited"
Trying new art experiences

When you think of a museum, you probably imagine a place to view artworks neatly lined up on white walls. However, Hyper Museum goes beyond just viewing, placing emphasis on providing an experience and excitement.

There are some challenges we want to take on at Hyper Museum. One of them is exploring new possibilities for museums using digital technology, such as online exhibitions, developing the metaverse, and even expanding the space-time of art experiences using AR and VR.

Although the Hyper Museum is located in the rich natural forest of metsä, which means "forest" in Finnish, we will not limit ourselves to the museum space, but will also try outdoor exhibitions and experiential workshop programs. We would like to provide an art experience that combines the real and the virtual.

Come and experience the excitement at Hyper Museum!

The Hyper Museum is
A new expression of "nature and digital"
Explore

One of the themes that Hyper Museum is tackling is "nature and digital."
The Hyper Museum will be located on the shores of Lake Miyazawa in the naturally rich Metsä Forest in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, a short distance from the city center.

Art has a mysterious power to stay ahead of its time. As society rapidly accelerates its digitalization, art is driving a reevaluation of sustainable values, such as placing importance on nature.
Hyper Museum has drawn attention to the fact that artists are actively challenging themselves to create artworks that harmonize the two seemingly opposing values of "nature" and "digital."
Inspiration derived from images of research in natural science and biological science, along with technology that makes full use of AI, are creating worlds beyond our imagination and unknown creatures.

The Hyper Museum explores new expressions of "nature and digital," which will also restore "human nature."

The Hyper Museum is
Tackling a variety of themes
Aiming to be an "open museum"

Hyper Museum will create a new movement that is not bound by the ideas of existing art museums. To that end, the vision, planning, and exhibition production will be handled by Shigeo Goto, a professor at Kyoto University of the Arts who is known for his work on hit museum exhibitions by Kishin Shinoyama and Mika Ninagawa, and who will also be the director and create the management team.

On taking up his new position, Goto had this to say:
"Today, the whirlwind of major social change is forcing change on everyone equally. Art has long been thought of as something that only a handful of people with specialized knowledge could understand, but conversely, people are beginning to realize that art itself holds clues for survival. At a time when online media and AI are rapidly changing the structure of society and people's lives, people are realizing that the future lies in art.
That's why art needs to change more, and museums need to change too.
Although Hyper Museum may be small, it will take on the challenge of curating with a speed and depth that no other museum in the world can match, and create new and familiar art values."

Art is so fascinating! Hyper Museum will take on the challenge of activities that will allow you to experience this for yourself. Please look forward to it!
