coming to metsä
"Aig Om" is an Estonian message that says, "We have plenty of time. Let's live slowly and naturally." A special program that can only be enjoyed locally in Estonia is loosely connected to Japan's metsä (forest) through the forest.
About “Aigu Om!”
A forest spreads out a few minutes after leaving Estonia's capital, Tallinn. The original landscape of Estonia is one where trees stretch out beyond your field of vision. South Estonia, which has not yet become much of a tourist destination, has many forests and springs that are called sacred places, and the region is home to distinctive features such as the ``smoke sauna'' and the traditional singing ``Setrero'', both of which are registered as intangible cultural heritage sites.
Nationally-known singer-songwriter Mari Karkun, who is fascinated by the natural beauty of this area, holds a festival <Aigu Om!> with the theme of ``Forests, Music, and Language'' every July. This year, Tartu and the region of Southern Estonia were selected as European Capital of Culture 7, and <Aigu Om! Japan Special> is also recognized as an official event. Musicians, mountain specialists, mountain monks, and others will be participating from Japan, and you will be able to spend time in the Estonian forest that you would not experience in everyday life.

About sauna operation nata studio
nata studio designs architecture with an emphasis on the natural environment. Fudo is a general term for the temporal and historical environment and culture of a town. We believe that the climate is important in creating cities and architecture where people can love the town and discover the joy of living together, and we value creating spaces and places that discover and nurture the climate.
Co-director Nagaoka had an internship at Casagrande Laboratory, an architectural design firm based in Helsinki, Finland. Currently, projects of various scales are underway, mainly in Yokohama City and Tochigi Prefecture, including welfare facilities, new learning buildings on abandoned school sites, and community development. For each project, we are engaged in daily design activities with the aim of creating new architecture that connects with the local climate.
