Movie theaters in Moominvalley
In conjunction with the 5th anniversary, the Moominvalley Cinema, which reopened on March 2024, 3, will screen video works that allow you to enjoy the world of Moomin stories.
The opening work is the Finnish animation ``Lonely Kunit,'' which beautifully expresses the world of the colorful picture book by the original author, Tove Jansson.
In addition, we will begin screenings of "And Then What?" on Moomin Day, August 8th, which is Tove's birthday.

“Lonely Kunit”

The story begins with the scene where Kunit, a small and timid creature called a crawler, can no longer bear the loneliness and runs away from the house where he lived all alone.
Kunit grows by learning about various encounters and courage in the outside world.
A beautiful animation that directly expresses the world of the colorful picture book drawn by the original author, Tove Jansson. Moominvalley Park will be the first screening of the film in Japan.
