[Currently running] Sebastian Masuda "KAWAIITOPIA -GO TO HEAVEN(HELL)-"
The first anniversary exhibition of Hyper Museum Hanno is "KAWAIITOPIA -GO TO HEAVEN(HELL)-" by Sebastian Masuda, a leading figure in the Japanese pop culture "KAWAII" with fans all over the world!
This exhibition is his first large-scale exhibition in five years, and is being held at a special time, marking the 30th anniversary of the opening of his Harajuku base, 6%DOKIDOKI.
The museum will feature "KAWAII-CORE ISLAND," a pink KAWAII mecca floating on Lake Miyazawa, and a giant tower called "PolyChromatic Skin -Gender Tower-" at the entrance. Inside the museum, there will be an immersive experience of "Tour of the Seven KAWAII Hells," which follows the formative experiences of Masuda Sebastian, where you will encounter the essence of KAWAII after struggling with conflict. There will also be an exclusive pop-up shop with a wide selection of KAWAII goods and a photo booth.
