Moomin 80th Anniversary
2025 marks the 1th anniversary of the publication of the first Moomin novel.
The theme for the 80th anniversary is "The door is always open."
Moominvalley, where the Moomins live, is home to many unique residents.
Residents are free to visit Moomin House and spend their time there however they like.
Moomin House, with its unlocked doors, welcomes any living thing.
I want people to find in the story the importance of a place to return to and a place to belong. This is a thought that has not changed from when the story began 80 years ago to the present day.
Moominvalley Park, the only theme park outside of Finland where you can experience the world of Moomin, will also be holding special events to commemorate the 80th anniversary.

Photo spots and original menus will be available to celebrate Moomin's 80th anniversary!
The flower beds in the Moominvalley area will be decorated with a special design to celebrate the 80th anniversary.
A specially designed photo spot inspired by the "Moominhouse Door," the key art that symbolizes the 80th anniversary, will be set up in the Moominvalley area, and gorgeous flowers to commemorate the anniversary will warmly welcome all visitors to the park.

Moominvalley Park's popular chocolate cake will be available in limited quantities in a special edition to commemorate the 80th anniversary. This anniversary version features a rich chocolate cake and a rice plate to celebrate the 80th anniversary. You can spend a moment in the relaxed atmosphere of the cafe, immersed in the world of the Moomin monogatari, Ltd., and feel the 80th anniversary.
