"Himmel" is a traditional ornament that has been passed down to Scandinavian Finland since ancient times. Prayed for the next year's harvest, it was made using the harvested rye stalks and has been popular as an 12 moon harvest festival and Christmas decoration.
At the metsä village, you will create a basic octahedron with straw straws and arrange it with your favorite motifs such as Yuryata (a traditional heart-shaped ornament in Scandinavian Denmark) or a Nordic sled.
