Karl Fazer Milk Chocolate Retro Can Lion

Fazer's lion character, drawn by famous Finnish illustrator Alexander Lindberg, is now available in a can package exclusively for Japan.

This illustration was created for an advertising poster for Fazer in the 1950s. The motif is the lion, which is also used in the national emblem of Finland.
Inside the can is Karl Fazer milk chocolate, a Fazer standard product that has been loved since the company's founding.
Recommended as a small gift for Valentine's Day, White Day, etc.

Designer: Alexander Lindberg (1917-2015)

Alexander Lindberg had a long and varied career as an illustrator, poster painter, and portrait painter. He also designed the stage sets and costumes.
After the war, Lindberg illustrated children's stories and novels, worked as an illustrator for Bonnier's weekly magazine in Sweden, and worked for the advertising agency Taucher, drawing posters for Fazer.
In 2005, he was awarded the Kiek Prize by Kuvittajat ry (Finnish Association of Illustrators).

Fazer

Founded in 1891, Fazel is a confectionery manufacturer that every Finnish person knows, celebrating its 2021th anniversary in 130.
Fazer's long history began in 1891 when he opened a cafe named after himself in Helsinki called Karl Fazer. It has been in his family since his first generation and is now being taken over by the fourth generation.
