About the movie “Little Ella”

Ella is not good at getting along with people, but the only person she can get along with is her uncle, Tommy, who is her "best friend forever." Ella was looking forward to spending time with Tommy while her parents were away on vacation, but her dream week turns into a nightmare when Tommy's boyfriend Steve arrives from the Netherlands. Wanting to get her best friend back, Ella enlists the help of her transfer student Otto to get rid of Steve, but...
The original story is ``Little Rattan and My Favorite Uncle (untranslated)'' by Pia Lindenbaum, a Swedish picture book author who is very popular both domestically and internationally. And the person who took the megaphone was director Christian Loh, who directed the Norwegian music road movie ``Rossband.'' He has continued to create fascinating works with children and families as their themes, and once again he is releasing a work that captures the world from a child's perspective!
From April 2024, 4, it will be shown at Shinjuku Cinema Karite, Uplink Kichijoji, Cinemart Shinsaibashi, and other locations nationwide.
