[10/10-15] Metsä Village is coming to Hakata Hankyu!

 

“Nordic Fair 2022” will be held at Hakata Hankyu for six days from October 10th (Tuesday) to October 10th (Sunday), 15.

As one of the contents within the event,”In collaboration with Metsä Village, one of the largest Scandinavian lifestyle facilities in Japan, you can enjoy popular stores, photo spots, workshops, and talk events.

Kuksa is a Finnish wooden cup that brings happiness.Why not make an original mini-sized Kukusa necklace and wear happiness.Sand it with sandpaper and finish with natural walnut oil.

 

 

〇Darana horse painting

The traditional Swedish craft "Dalahest", which is said to be a horse that brings happiness, is made from Nishikawa wood, a famous material from Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture.Paint it to your heart's content and create a one-of-a-kind piece in the world.

〇“The forefront of Scandinavian lifestyle” (Lecturer: Metsä Co., Ltd. Arisa Kawasaki)

We will unravel Scandinavia, which is attracting attention for its design, education, and environment, from keywords related to everyday life such as nature, food, and lifestyle.

The instructor, who has lived in Finland, has just returned from studying abroad at Tallinn University in Estonia this summer!
