<About director Christian Lo>
Born in Vinstra, Norway in 1977. He is a film director who specializes in works depicting children and families. He entertains audiences by portraying vivid characters in his dramatic and engaging works, and focuses on telling stories from the perspective of young people and portraying their compassion and impulses. . In 2001, he graduated from the Department of Film Production at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design (now UCA College of Art) in the UK. He has won numerous awards for his short works for children, including his graduation work ``PUNKTERT (PUNCTURED)'' (01). His third feature film, ``Rossband,'' which is set in Norway and focuses on young people aiming to enter a rock competition, was nominated in the Generation section at the 3 Berlin International Film Festival. His fourth novel, Little Ella, is set in Sweden and tells the story of a niece and uncle in a warm and lighthearted way. It has been decided that he will come to Japan to coincide with the release of this film.
